Your University of Toledo Alumni Association is pleased to announce that the groundbreaking for the William and Carol Koester Alumni Pavilion and the Alumni Association Annual Meeting will take place on Saturday, May 12 from 4 – 6 p.m.

Thanks to the overwhelming support of our alumni, construction will soon begin on the Koester Alumni Pavilion which is expected to open sometime this football season.  The Koester Alumni Pavilion will be the future home of all UT Alumni Association football tailgates, a permanent home for alumni recognition to honor our outstanding graduates and will be open to the UT and Toledo-area community for events, as well. To make May 12 even more memorable, the groundbreaking ceremonies and Alumni Association Annual Meeting will be free of charge!!!  This event will be held on the future site of the Koester Alumni Pavilion. A tent will be located between the west side of Glass Bowl Stadium and Parks Tower.  Parking will be available in Parking Area 10 (north of the Glass Bowl) and Parking Area 9 (south of the Glass Bowl).  Golf cart shuttle service will be available from Parking Area 9 ONLY!

A casual social hour featuring Tony Packo’s Famous Hot Dogs will begin at 4 p.m. followed by a short annual meeting including the installation of your new Board of Trustees for the UT Alumni Association at 5 p.m.  Groundbreaking ceremonies will begin immediately following Annual Meeting business.

As there is no charge for this event and because we expect an extremely large turnout for this groundbreaking, RESERVATIONS ARE A MUST!!!!!  Please make reservations by calling the Office of Alumni Relations at
