Join the Judith Herb College of Education Alumni Affiliate for a reception highlighting the Toledo Transition program on Thursday, April 26 at 6 p.m. in the Schmakel Room of the Driscoll Alumni Center.

Program Director Dr. Patricia Devlin, Program Coordinator Patrick Kelley and special guests Danny and Annette Napoli, will give an inside look at the two- and four-year non-degree certificate experience of the Toledo Transition (T2) program. Danny is a current student in the T2 program and will share his experience from a student perspective and his mom, Annette, will share the parent perspective.

The primary goal of the T2 program is to provide a college experience that enhances social, academic and vocational skills that lead to a high quality of life for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Dr. Devlin is an Associate Professor in the Early Childhood, Higher Education and Special Education Department in the Judith Herb College of Education. Devlin focuses on promoting positive outcomes for youth and adults with moderate to significant disabilities and their transition from secondary school into competitive employment and postsecondary education. In addition to the T2 Program, Dr. Devlin has directed a number of programs at UT, including Project SCOUT, Securing Career Opportunities at UT, and Project SEARCH, a partnership with Penta Career Center.

Reservations are required and reception attendees will receive two contact hours.

We hope you'll be able to join us!
