The University of Toledo Golden Alumni Society invites you to join us for an Evening of Jazz at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 23 at the Center for Performing Arts.
Start the evening with a reception in the Center for Performing Arts Boardroom at 6 p.m. Mingle with friends and classmates while you enjoy phyllo cups filled with Boursin cheese and cranberries, traditional chicken salad in phyllo cups, fruit, cheese, and vegetables served with crackers and dips, chips and French onion dip, house-made spinach dip with fresh pita chips, miniature cookies, water and citrus punch. A cash bar will be available.
The musical program begins at 7 p.m. in the Recital Hall. The program will be a mix of jazz standards and traditional, classic big band. You will enjoy the musical memories of jazz master artists from the 1940s through the '60s.
The Center for Performing Arts is located on UT's Main Campus at 1910 W. Rocket Dr., Toledo 43606. Free parking is available across the street in Parking Area 12.
The cost to attend is $10 per person.
