The University of Toledo Retirees Association invites you to a tour of UT's Lake Erie Center at noon on Wednesday, May 16.
The Lake Erie Center is a research and educational facility focused on environmental conditions and aquatic resources in Maumee Bay and western Lake Erie as a model for the Great Lakes and aquatic ecosystems worldwide.
Dr. Thomas Bridgeman, assistant professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences, will give a tour of the facility, focusing on Lake Erie's harmful algal blooms.
There is no charge for the tour, but reservations are required. We are providing transportation from the Driscoll Alumni Center on UT's main campus to the Lake Erie Center. The bus will depart Lot 17 outside of the Driscoll Alumni Center at noon.
