UToledo Alumni Travel trips include many of the same activities such as walking, standing, waiting in lines, getting on and off buses, etc. The amount and difficulty of these activities are what make up the different activity levels:
- Easy: Easy walking pace, climbing some stairs, walking on some uneven surfaces, and
embarking and disembarking buses.
- Moderate: Faster pace, long walks with substantial distances covered, uneven walking
surfaces, stair climbing, and embarking and disembarking transportation.
- Difficult: Vigorous pace, frequent movements, extensive walking over uneven walking
surfaces, hiking, embarking and disembarking transportation.
The activity level is listed at the top of each trip details page.
Most trips are all-inclusive, covering most meals, internal transportation, guide and entrance fees and gratuities.
A full list of included amenities is available on each trip details page.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against last-minute cancellations and other travel risks. If illness, family emergencies or unforeseen circumstances prevent you from traveling, insurance can help recover your payments. It may also cover trip interruptions, delays, medical emergencies, evacuation, baggage loss or delays and certain pre-existing conditions, depending on the policy.
Our preferred travel insurance partner is ________ and you’ll receive travel insurance information when you register for a trip. Contact _____ at ______ or visit their website if you have questions regarding travel insurance coverage or costs.
