The University of Toledo Alumni Association invites you to a YouTube Premiere virtual conversation with Columbian conductor, Juan Montoya '09.
Join us at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 25 for a YouTube Premier conversation between Montoya and Dr. Michael Boyd, a professor of piano at UToledo, a soloist and collaborative artist. They will discuss Montoya's career and his experiences at the University. Clips from his performances will be featured during the conversation.
In addition to several international engagements, Montoya has been the resident conductor of the Kuala Lumpur City Opera since 2014 and the director of orchestral studies at Universiti Teknologi MARA, a public university in Shah Alam, Malaysia.
If you aren't able to attend at 6 p.m. for the YouTube Premiere, the recording will be available on the College of Arts and Letters Alumni Affiliate page to watch at a later date.
Immediately following the virtual conversation, all alumni and friends are invited to hear directly from Montoya in a live Q&A session in Zoom. This will be a great opportunity to meet fellow alumni and friends of the college.
