Join The University of Toledo Alumni Association for a conversation with Dr. Pamela Heaton, the new dean of the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, on Thursday, Nov. 17 from 6 - 7:30 p.m.
Appetizers will be served with beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages.
The event is open to all College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences alumni and friends and is an opportunity to learn more about the dean's vision for the college. Attendees will be able to ask Dr. Heaton questions.
Heaton joined the University of Cincinnati in 1998 as a visiting assistant professor and accepted a full-time faculty position in 2003. She was named chair of the division of pharmacy practice in 2011 and interim dean in 2020.
Under her leadership as chair of the Division of Pharmacy Practice and Administrative Sciences and more recently as interim dean, the college has transformed its doctor of pharmacy recruitment process, significantly grown its residency offerings, more than doubled its new grant funding and developed the country’s first online master’s degree program in pharmacy leadership.
