The University of Toledo College of Engineering Alumni Affiliate is seeking volunteers to help raise money for engineering student scholarships by working concessions at the Toledo Mud Hens game on April 13. Game time is 4:05 p.m. and volunteers should arrive at 2 p.m. Volunteers will be working side by side with current engineering students.
Each volunteer will receive a complimentary meal and t-shirt. Friends and family are welcome to join but must be at least 16 years old.
Job duties will include taking orders, running a cash register, and getting food and beverages for fans.
Uniform
- Rocket gear or black/blue shirt
- Khaki or black pants, capris or knee-length shorts (no jeans)
- T-shirts will be provided for student volunteers
- Closed-toed, slip-resistant shoes (no Crocs)
Additional information will be sent to volunteers prior to the game.
The Toledo Mud Hens will donate a portion of the stand's sales directly to the Engineering Alumni Affiliate Scholarship Fund. If you are unable to volunteer but wish to donate to the scholarship fund, please donate below.
April 17, 2023 Volunteer Recap
The crowd was small and the rain washed out the game, but we still had 23 volunteers who ran four concession stands, raising $1,400 for scholarships and UTEC activities!
