Join the UToledo Retirees Association (UTRA) for a delightful day trip to charming Chelsea, Michigan, featuring great food, free time to explore, and an afternoon of live theater at the renowned Purple Rose Theatre.
We’ll travel together by charter bus for a relaxed and social outing, starting with lunch at the Valiant Bar & Grill, where you’ll select your meal in advance from a limited menu. After lunch, enjoy some time to stroll through Chelsea’s eclectic downtown—filled with unique shops and small-town charm—before heading to the theatre.
At 3:00 p.m., settle in for Emma’s Wedding, a hilarious romp through the decades as we hear the story of Emma’s fourth wedding. She’s absolutely convinced this one will be the one—and the journey to get there is packed with laughter and heart. Theatre doors open at 2:30 p.m.
Departure Details
Please arrive at the Center for Alumni and Donor Engagement, 4510 Dorr St., Toledo, OH 43615, by 10:30 a.m. Leave your vehicle there and board the charter bus. We will depart promptly at 11:00 a.m.
