Join us on Sunday, April 26, for an exciting and immersive journey into the forefront of modern astronomy with the full-dome show Big Astronomy. Doors will open at 2:30 p.m., with the show beginning promptly at 3:00 p.m. Complimentary parking available in Lot 1S
Big Astronomy explores the remarkable discoveries made possible by the world’s most powerful telescopes and observatories. From mountaintops in Chile to space-based instruments orbiting Earth, this visually stunning program highlights how astronomers collaborate across the globe to answer some of humanity’s biggest questions about the universe. Through breathtaking imagery and engaging storytelling, the show reveals how cutting-edge technology and international teamwork are transforming our understanding of the cosmos.
Space is limited and registration is required. Registration is $3 for adults; $2 for seniors and children.
Following a brief introduction, guests will enjoy the full-dome screening inside the recently renovated Ritter Planetarium.
